 How do I install Oracle Enterprise Management 13c Agent on Windows?

Requirements:

- In OEM Server (The Server where Oracle Enterprise Manager installed)

1- Create Oracle Enterprise Manager Agent Software Image .


- In Host Server (The Server where we want to install Oracle Enterprise Manger Agent to Install)

1- Firwall Port Config.

2- Visual C++ Packeges Installing. 

3-Install Oracle Enterprise Manager Agent On Host:  



Requirements:

- In OEM Server (The Server where Oracle Enterprise Manager installed)

1- Create Oracle Enterprise Manager Agent Software Image.

open command line as Administrator :

1- cd in D:\Oracle\middleware\bin>emcli login -username=sysman -password=*****





 2- emcli sync




3- emcli get_supported_platforms


4- Download the Management Agent software from Oracle Software Library to a temporary directory on the OMS host:


D:\Oracle\middleware\bin>.\emcli get_agentimage -destination=D:\Agent_software_13.5.0.0 -platform="Microsoft Windows x64 (64-bit)" -version="13.5.0.0.0"



· Transfer the downloaded ZIP file to a temporary directory (/tmp) on the destination host where you want to install the Management Agent Host.

· On the destination host, extract the contents of the ZIP file using the Unzip utility:


- In Host Server (The Server where we want to install Oracle Enterprise Manger Agent to Install)

1- Firwall Port Config

Opening Ports in Windows Firewall

  1. From the Start menu, click Control Panel, click System and Security, and then click Windows Firewall. ...



  2. Click Advanced Settings.

  3. Click Inbound Rules.

  4. Click New Rule in the Actions window.

  5. Click Rule Type of Port.

  6. Click Next.
  7. On the Protocol and Ports page click TCP: 22, 3872, 4903,7101,1159


  9. In the Action section, select Allow the connection (or choose the setting for your requirements) and click Next.
  10. In the Profile section, select all appropriate profiles for when this rule applies and click Next.

  11. Finally, give your new rule a descriptive name so that it is easy to find later, and click Finish.

  12. You should now be able to see your new rule created in the Inbound Rules pane and establish connections to your server with the configured port if a program or service is listening on that port.

2- Visual C++ Packeges Installing. 

Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable 

the latest Packeges  Downloads in Agent Host Server from this Linke:

then test the DLL File :

"msvcr100.dll & msvcr110.dll" Datei 

is this Packeges in C:\Windows\System32\ ? exisist ?


Download and Install This packages:

Microsoft VC++ 2010 Redistributable (64 bit) 

VC++ 2012 Redistributable (64 bit) 

VC++ 2015 packages,



3-Install Oracle Enterprise Manager Agent On Host: 

· Transfer the downloaded ZIP file to a temporary directory (/tmp) on the destination host where you want to install the Management Agent.

· On the destination host, extract the contents of the ZIP file using the Unzip utility:

<software_extract_location>/agentDeploy.bat AGENT_BASE_DIR=<Agent Instance Base> RESPONSE_FILE=<absolute_path_to_responsefile>

 

- As administartor

- D:\Agent_software_13.5.0.0\13.5.0.0.0_AgentCore_233> set AGENT_SERVICE_NAME=Oracleagent13c1Agent

 

- D:\Agent_software_13.5.0.0\13.5.0.0.0_AgentCore_233>agentDeploy.bat AGENT_BASE_DIR=D:\Oracle\em_agent OMS_HOST=OEM.COM EM_UPLOAD_PORT=1159 AGENT_REGISTRATION_PASSWORD=*********

Navigate to the Management Agent Oracle Home and run the following command to confirm that the Management Agent is up and running:

<Agent Instance Base>/agent_inst/bin/emctl status agent
<Agent Instance Base>/agent_inst/bin/emctl upload agent
